You’ll find your order number on the packing slip included with your order.

If your item has been worn or protective packaging has been removed then your return will not be accepted. This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described.

Western‑Style Brewing

• Tea amount: 3–4 g per ~250–300 ml of water

• Water temperature: 95–100 °C (just off the boil)

• First infusion: Steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on how strong or mellow you like it

• Re‑steeping: Reuse leaves for 2–3 infusions, increasing the steep time slightly each time

• Serving: Pour all the tea out immediately after steeping to preserve its balance

Gongfu‑Style (Traditional / Connoisseur)

• Tea-to-water ratio: 7–8 g per 100 ml of water

• Water temperature: Around 95–100 °C

• Rinse: Do a quick rinse (~5 seconds) to “wake up” the leaves, then discard the rinse water

• First infusion: Steep for 10–20 seconds (depending on your teaware and strength preference)

• Subsequent infusions: Gradually lengthen each steep by 5–10 seconds

• Total infusions: Expect around 6–10+ infusions, depending on leaf quality

• Serving: After each steep, pour into a fairness pitcher or cups — avoid leaving leaves sitting in water

General Brewing Tips

• Use fresh, clean (filtered or spring) water — this brings out the tea’s full aromatic and mineral character.

• Pre‑warm your teaware: rinse your teapot or gaiwan and cups with hot water before brewing to maintain temperature stability.

• Pay attention to each infusion: Rou Gui evolves over multiple brews — early ones often highlight spice and warmth; later ones bring out sweetness, floral depth, and mellow richness.

• Store the tea in an airtight container, away from light, heat, moisture, and strong odours to preserve its aroma and freshness.
